Have you ever payed ten dollars for a single ravioli? Okay, now let me ask you if you've ever experienced a poached egg oozing from a ravioli? Egg yolk, mingling with ricotta cheese in a puddle of brown butter and sage. Just sayin'. Ready to part with the ten smackeroos yet?

I know, I know, it's another post about Bottega Louie and you probably think they are my sponsors at this point but I swear - it's out of sheer love for this place that I blog about it and I've never so much as received a free macaron for my efforts. I'm sorry but I am really just looking out for your best interest - how else would you hear about the stellar new breakfast menu? So glad they've upped the ante on what was once a somewhat lackluster breakfast selection... But that doesn't mean you're off the hook for this:
It just wouldn't be a trip to Bottega without the requisite pizza. Won't stop until I've stuffed myself like a ravioli! It's LA's best pizza and don't leave without having tried it. Doesn't matter what time of day it is...
Course, once you've stuffed yourself like a ravioli there is little space left in your appetite for goodies like these... When I meet up with Jill from Those Ghosts later I think our strategy should be to eat our way around the goodies in the cafe... You know, ease her into her first visit (Who am I kidding? I've been a very naughty girl with food this week and I don't think my thighs - or arteries - could take on another pizza... and have you seen Jill's thighs? Amazeballs.)
So yeah, I think we'll stalk the desserts, breads and other confections for a while, hover, make our selection, and then swoop in like vultures!
This could be you! Happily stuffing an eclaire into your gob... Like my sister last week, post pizza/ravioli pig-out party! I said there was "little" space for treats after brunchy - not ZERO space!
