The terra cotta and marble floors of Union Station have been pounded and punctured by the heels of many a dreamer. For those who ventured across the country, this cultural-historic monument built in 1939 marked the beginning of the real journey. For others it marked the end... It was a more formal and refined time, when people dressed up to travel. Although it was not practical, it certainly was elegant...
Union Station was designed by The Parkinsons on the original site of Chinatown. Known as the "last great railway station" in America it is an eclectic blend of Dutch Colonial Revival architecture, Mission Revival, and Streamline Moderne.

Some liquid courage might have been the very thing before they embarked on their journey...
How energized they must have felt as they exited this station with their whole new life ahead of them...
LA even LOOKED promising. How could something so pretty harm you...?
Special thanks to my photographer Jill of Those Ghosts! Be sure to check out her version of our shoot!

The Union Station looks great. I like the polished floors. If I'm not mistaken, the floor is made up of marbles and granite. By the way, you look stunning on your photos.
The exterior part of the Union Station looks fantastic. On the other hand, the interior part is also very compelling. I would love to go to that place and take some photos too.
perth home renovations
The concrete materials used to build this Union Station really made this place a sturdy establishment. The designs are also great. From the exterior up to the interior of this place, you can really see that this has been built with good foundation.
