Pink LA was among my first posts. It wasn't until my return after a brief hiatus from this town that I realized what separated our city from the others was how we embraced the color pink! I've been collecting "pink" photographs but decided to post only the pink I encountered today - and this was just what stood out returning from a lunch with friends. Imagine if I had actually scavenged the city? If you had to assign a color to your city, what would it be? (and try not to say "greige"!)
A favorite color combo...
Banksy Street Art on La Brea
Apartment building
Art Deco Movie Theater on La Brea
Skateboard Ad
Pink Elephant sees to it that my bar is always stocked
Pink Pig perched atop the Capitol Records Building marks the re-issue of Pink Floyd's 14 studio albums
Here's a fun little way to spend your Sunday:
Think of a color that best represents your city and then go on a photo scavenger hunt and see how many shots you come up with to support your idea! If you do a post about it send me the link and I will post it!

Ahh, love this! Just back from Paris where I was thinking about how PINK the parks were with all the PINK flowers out. That said, I think LA is PINKER!!
I love the Street art, so inspiring. There is a lot of pink in LA, indeed. We do have in France a city called that way: Toulouse, "the pink city" (no idea why though). As for Bordeaux, I actually do not know. I'll definitely think about it and go on a scavenger hunt with my camera !!
