Not much to say about Halloween except that it was action packed and more fun than I've had in a good long while! My costume this year was "Naughty Nurse" to my "patient" whose strap-on hiney was hanging out of his hospital gown as his bullet wounds oozed! The inspiration behind my costume was Vivienne Westwood meets Betsy Johnson for lunch and they have a few drinks before they go shopping on Hollywood Blvd! (Okay so it was my sister and I having the drinks before shopping on Hollywood Blvd...) There aren't really any photos from the party because I left my camera behind - but my patient and I were runners up in the best costume contest loosing to an impeccable interpretation of Dog the Bounty Hunter and his wife. Some of the photos below are a re-creation today of my costume.
The "nice" side of Halloween involved my nieces dressing up as fairy princesses while getting sugar highs off their spoils! I stayed behind to hand out candy while my sister and brother-in-law took the girls door to door. The big scare was when the boyfriend tricked me by showing up in a super-creepy Beetlejuice costume asking for candy. Lucky for him he still left with a treat...
