FNO - Beverly Hills/West Hollywood

First let me begin by apologizing for my lack of posts. I blame the opressive heat. It made me very grumpy... that was until FNO! And things have been looking up ever since! We began with festivities in Beverly Hills on Rodeo Drive and Wilshire and wrapped up the evening on Robertson Blvd in West Hollywood.... Here's how it all went down... (prepare to be assaulted with a barrage of photos)

 Lanvin on Rodeo Dr.

Anna Sui for Anthropologie blouse; vintage Lanvin necklace; JBrand Veruca flares; vintage handbag
The Beverly Wilshire Hotel (yes, you recognize it from the movie "Pretty Woman")
Adorable LA Blogger (and fashion designer) Heather Petrey of LAfashionsnob
FNO Fascinator designed by Heather! Oder yours now for next year...
Accessorized photo booth
Only in Beverly Hills...
Window at Tiffany's
I love this Carine Roitfeld quote on the window at Barney's
Live mannequin at Agent Provocateur

Ouch! The lovely and fierce Kathryn Newton in the shoe salon at Saks

Color Blocked!
Courtney, JBrand fit model; Bryan, David Kahn Creative Director; my darling Gabriel, JBrand design assistant at Saks GQ Magazine's "Authentic Denim" party -  JBrand

Stylish couple at Saks - love her Stepford Wives circa 1975 gown!
Guzzled the Chivas Watermelon Juleps - they were the very thing in the swampy heat of the party!
Instead of "Charlie's Angels" it's "Bryan's Angels"! The David Khan design team - fringed out!
After we browsed the gorgeous JBrand jeans and gorged ourselves on Chivas cocktails and tasty treats we headed east to the Louboutin party...
My other darling - Jason, Assistant Store Manager at Louboutin
 Matt from Louboutin
Can you tell I'm partial to the men's Loubs? Although if I had to choose one for myself it would be the "Cayote". It's a foxy fox embellished super-high heel that is so fabulous you don't need to wear anything else. Just the shoe. That's right...
Upstairs you could have your hair styled or lashes beribboned and feathered!

oh boy... yes please!

Silhouette of the most decadent treat of the night - Baked Alaska on a stick!

How did you spend your FNO? Spending??

Your FNO was waaaay more fierce than mine! I'll be posting pix next week and I only made it to Saks and NM in Chicago. It was rainy and cold so my friend and I went to dinner...we did catch a very handsome shoe designer...his name starts with a B :)

Hey lady! Welcome back to the blogging world, we missed you :-)

I spent FNO in NYC at an event for Moo Shoes, a vegan shoe boutique. I meant to hop around a bit but had such a great time I never left my first event.

Looks like you guys had a great time in LA!

That was worth the wait. I wish I could go to a FNO somewhere ! Seems like you had a lot of fun and seen some interesting items. Thanks for sharing !
I really like Anna Sui so I really like your blouse. H. Petrey's outfit is also really GREAT. She had an awesome idea with the letters FNO on her headband matching her shoes.
And love love love all the people from Louboutin.

Waou... looks like it was really amazing!!! And thanks for taking so many pictures.. I always get a bit shy asking people if I can take their pic and in some shops (Dior) they simply did not want people to take pics.. but seeing all these nice pics, re-motivate me to try harder next time.

Btw, re your last comment on my blog, read this: http://news.softpedia.com/news/Paraffin-Scented-Candles-Can-Cause-Cancer-Study-Reveals-119984.shtml

A big kiss. I adore your blog. Never ever let the heat stop you writing (and that comes from a girl who stopped most of August... ;)) One day, you'll be a super star.

Very cool! Thanks for the great pictures. There was a local celebration here on Long Island, but it wasn't as good as I hoped; next year, I'll go into NYC for the real deal.
