Wyland
June gloom mist didn't deter us this morning (we bravely brave the elements in LA!). Beautiful children, bougie hippies (I mean that in the most complimentary way), and colorful characters were wandering (and working) the streets with me. I bought cherries and hand pies, art and poetry. I can't think of a better way to kick off the weekend. How did yours begin?
Village Bakery Bread - the sourdough makes the most delicious grilled cheese!
Actress Angie Simms
Local Poet - R.C. Bates
I was photographing some street art for a later post when I realized these guys were trying to get my attention! I love how willing they were to perform for me (see if you can spot the entertainer in pic below).
Shopped the Ashkahn pop up shop at ReForm School
... and I can't think of a better note to end on - a true original the "iconic" "Five Dollar Man"
Thanks to all the participants in today's post... you really brightened my day!

Its not "Vocalist Juliet Simms of Automatic Loveletter". Its Angie Simms, actress (: Juliet is Angie's big sis.
Thank you! I will make that correction!!!
Your blog, photos, and the essence you capture so make me miss LA... the REAL LA! Blog on!
